You wake up, another year is gone

You’re twenty one fourteen. Hahaha! Aaahhh this is a late post, it’s not my birthday today. I turned 14, ten days ago. Haha! And this year was pretty different because for the first time in years, my birthday was a weekend.

So here’s what happened.

I slept at 1:30am because they started flooding my wall with greetings. Hahaha! Personally, I loved the wall post of my friends Alex, Vencis and Beata the most! Hahahaha! They put 1D pics and One Thing by One Direction along with their greetings. EHEHE :”) And for twitter greetings, I liked Fraya’s the most. Hahaha!

Then woke up at about 7. And it was raining 😦 Gaaahhh. Went to Twitter and Facebook to reply to the birthday greetings. 🙂 I even unlocked my tweets for 1D to greet me. But unfortunately, they didn’t reply to me 😦 But that’s okay. There’s always next year. And for me not to feel bad, I just pretended that Niall was too busy eating somewhere,  Liam was busy looking for jellybeans, Zayn woke up too early and went back to sleep, Louis was tired (he tweeted early “Tireddd’) and Harry, well he’s too busy taking pictures of Lou having a haircut.

It was still raining when we went out for my birthday dinner, but it was alright! Thank God we arrived safe and dry :p  My birthday was pretty fun! Too bad 6 people (1D+you) didn’t greet me 😦 Hahaha! Meh. I didn’t take pictures 😦 Next time!! Promise 😀

“A birthday is just the first day of another 365-day journey around the sun. Enjoy the trip.” 🙂 x Can’t wait for next year!! a.k.a my last birthday I’m gonna celebrate as a highschool student haha!

Classes got suspended awhile ago! Hahhh. Sucks tho because I really wanted to finish the exams already :\ Meh. But that’s okay, more review time for me! I didn’t review well last night because of my colds. Huhu by 10, my eyes were already heavy and reddish. Stupid colds.

Anyway, I’ll be back later, posting about my birthday and what happened last week. 🙂

omg hi

Ok let me do this real quick. I want to post about my birthday and all the things that happened this week but I don’t have enough time. I still have to review Soc. Sci, Filipino and do my Physics h.w and along with that, do my computer activities so I don’t have to do it in school tomorrow. HEHE.

Announcement: I won’t be posting next weekend because the Monday & Tuesday after that is our exam week. S I G H. So yeah. If we’ll be half day (I’m sure that we’ll be dismissed early on the 31st) I’ll be doing 4 blog posts. Okay? Okay. 🙂

Goodnight and hope you have an awesome week 🙂 x

It’s too late to look away and unfeel what I feel for you

6th week of school = d  o   n  e

((Hello long weekend!!))

Nothing really happened to me in school this week. This week was pretty boring, but it went fast. So yeah, thank God! ☺

But earlier this week, a comedian or should I say a legend passed away. Dolphy Quizon died at 83 on July 10.  😦 He was like a lolo (grandpa) to everyone. Haha! I mean, we grew up seeing Dolphy films. Even my parents grew up seeing Dolphy’s films. Sigh. 😦  Thank you Dolphy for letting everyone laugh, smile and sometimes even cry. Thank you for giving my generation a happy childhood because of your movies and TV shows that we never fail to watch.  Thank you for letting every Filipino realize that even though they have problems, they can actually laugh or smile about it every once in a while. This is not goodbye though.. someday we will see you again.. up there and you’ll share stories and maybe make us smile, laugh again 😉 RIP Dolphy, thank you again for everything. You will be missed. xx

And as promised…

The book reviews for The Fault In Our Stars and The Perks Of Being A Wallflower 🙂

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower

This is the story of what it’s like to grow up in high school. More intimate than a diary, Charlie’s letters are singular and unique, hilarious and devastating. We may not know where he lives. We may not know to whom he is writing. All we know is the world he shares. Caught between trying to live his life and trying to run from it puts him on a strange course through uncharted territory. The world of first dates and mixed tapes, family dramas and new friends. The world of sex, drugs, andThe Rocky Horror Picture Show, when all one requires is that perfect song on that perfect drive to feel infinite.

•This is really one of my favorite books of all time. I just finished this book last week and to be honest, I could actually relate to it. It’s because It’s a story of what it’s like in high school.

•I can’t wait for the movie!! 🙂 BECAUSE LOGAN LERMAN EMMA WATSON LOGAN LERMAN LOGAN LERMAN… L O G A N L E R M A N. Mehehehe.  Here’s the trailer:

•Favorite quotes:

“And in that moment, I swear we were infinite.” (After the movie it will be “And in that moment, I swear this is going to be an overused line.”)

So this is my life and I want you to know that I am both sad and happy and I’m still trying to figure out how that could be.

And I guess I realized at that moment that I really did love her. Because there was nothing to gain, and that didn’t matter.

“She was sad, though. But it was a hopeful kind of sad. The kind of sad that just takes time”

“Old pictures look very rugged and young, and the people in the photographs always seem a lot happier than you are.”

Two years post-miracle, sixteen-year-old Hazel is post-everything else, too; post-high school, post-friends and post-normalcy. And even though she could live for a long time (whatever that means), Hazel lives tethered to an oxygen tank, the tumours tenuously kept at bay with a constant chemical assault.  Enter Augustus Waters. A match made at cancer kid support group, Augustus is gorgeous, in remission, and shockingly to her, interested in Hazel. Being with Augustus is both an unexpected destination and a long-needed journey, pushing Hazel to re-examine how sickness and health, life and death, will define her and the legacy that everyone leaves behind.

•Favorite quotes:

“Some infinities are bigger than other infinities.”

““I’m on a roller coaster that only goes up,” he said.  “And it is my privilege and my responsibility to ride all the way up with you,” I said.” “

“I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly, then all at once. “

“My thoughts are stars I cannot fathom into constellations.”

•Rating: 5 out of 5 stars 🙂
